Hi, I'm thinking about moving to Mooresville or Concord in August and was wondering if anyone could give me more info about the area. I'm in my early 30's and have 2 children ages 12 and 13. I've done a lot of research on Concord and really like that area. I'm wondering if Mooresville is going to be too small for us. We'd like to be fairly close to entertainment, stores, etc. Any info that you can provide me with will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I live in Concord and like it here. Mooresville seems to be very nice as well. The only thing about Mooresville is that I-77 only has 2 lanes to and from Charlotte which means bad traffic backups.

Mooresville is growing very quickly, and has quite a bit of entertainment. Shopping centers, stores, all are popping up all over the place. I dont spend much time at all in Concord, except every now and then a trip to Concord Mills.

Mooresville has a serious traffic issue. As does many areas around Lake Norman. The lake simply prevents alot of roads from being built, and places are land locked as the growth continues.
