I don't know why you would relocate to a city like Fayetteville unless you have a good paying job lined up.

Fayetteville is a DUMP, period!

Read some old posts about Fayetteville. Some folks hate it, especially if the military brought them here against their will. Other folks have chosen to live here and see the positive side of living in the area. I'm one who moved back here and enjoy it.

Here is an apartment complex in Jack Britt district.

Fayetteville is a "drab" looking town. The streets are horrible and whoever designed the layout of the city was an idiot.

High crime, lack of entertainment, and a bunch of political drama make Fayetteville a crappy locale to relocate to.

I lived there for about 18 years and ran for the door when I had the opportunity to leave.

Just my two cents...

Crime is actually LOWER this year than it was last year. There's PLENTY of entertainment, if you bother to look for it. And political drama dictates the STATE level, if you've read the paper lately. Fayetteville is a wonderful place to live, if you bother to look at the positive. And yes, I've lived here almost my entire life...I've lived in Raleigh, and I'll stay here, thankyouverymuch!

Because of the different tracks, governed choices, and programs each of the schools will have favorites. Jack Britt is highly desired which effects rental and resale of properties in the district. They will cost slightly more and I know nice rental houses can be in short supply.

You can check out the programs here
