We are considering buying some property , maybe a house also, in North Carolina. We are looking for an area that is not in the mountains but definately not near the coast either. (We will be moving from FL and are ready for some different scenery). Rolling hills would be great ! Also, we would like a rural type area or small town type atmosphere. Any help would be appreciated.

It sound like you talking about Clemmons, NC 27012. It's the small town feel, but yet your only Mins from the Triad and 3 hours from the Coast and 1hour from Mountains

Or the Triangle area ( Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill), 3hrs from the mountains and 2 from the coast. We've been here 22 years and have raised three boys and love it.

We like Lillington. It is centrally located with the small, rural town atmospher. You can get to Raleigh in 45 minutes and Fayetteville, NC in 20-30 minutes.
