I moved to Salisbury, Nc from Bowie, Md and absolutley hate it!! I think it is just this particular city, not North Carolina as whole. I want to move to another city here, and I was wondering should I move north towards the Raleigh area or South to Charlotte. Also which areas have a better job market?

hey, i think Johnstown, PA would be a good suit for you. Good job market...small town environment with big town resources.

What is it you don't like about Salisbury? What are you looking for that is different? That would help people know how to give suggestions.

You've responded with this same quote to a LOT of threads on here. Too bad there's not a lot of information to be extracted from it. Location (or lack of location) is not the only thing people should look at.

At a point in time, I lived 17 miles from Salisbury. I can't say anything good or bad about the place. To me, it was just another Piedmont town. So far, I haven't found anyplace within NC that meets everyone's personal requirements.
