Minot is currently $2.99. This is REALLY expensive to me for it being a small town. I went to Minneapolis last week and it was at least .30 cents cheaper. Hopefully it stops going up.
Gas is about 82.00 a barrel & expected to rise. Its been 2 yrs since it was this high. Be thankful you're not in ca where we are always being screwed thanks to the puke legislature & govenor.
I have a hybrid! I definitely paid less in Dallas and it's still less in Dallas but maybe it's just cheaper in larger cities altogether? Not sure but this is one of the most expensive places for gas that I've lived in. The hybrid helps, especially since I drive about 30 miles everyday. I only fill up twice a month, each time about $27.
What's the deal with Regular gasoline vs. Premium gasoline? It seems like ND gas has ethanol added to the 89.5 octane gas and is the same price as the Regular without ethanol. Is that accurate? How did that come about? (I'd rather have the Regular gas without ethanol.)
I don't what happened but as we were driving up here once we hit Nebraska...everything had ethanol in it! It is the same price as regular gas. And yes, ethanol is supposedly better but when creating ethanol, it releases mnore gas and toxins than just regular gasoline so either way, it's about the same, I suppose. In toxins and price.
I just purchased gasoline at one of the Cenex stations in Williston today. Regular was $3.04 and mid-grade was $2.99. The regular, even though higher was ethanol-free. That's what I bought. I prefer 100% pure gasoline, especially with the colder temperatures.
So, do all of you guys add a fuel stabilizer with every tank? I've started adding a cheap STP addititive every time I fill up in the hopes of preventing gas-line freeze.

No, I personally never had a problem with gas linie freeze and I was in Grand Forks back in 2004 when it was -44F. I had a Honda CRV at the time.
