I think you'll be fine living with in the limits of Fargo, Moorhead, MN or west fargo, all have a great small town feel with the nice amenities of a larger city. Nice mall, plenty of restaurant, a few movie theaters, and a great park system. Hope this helps good luck.

There is some property crime in Fargo, but mostly it is a case of crimes of opportunity or in connection w/ alcohol consumption. People here still aren't in the habit of locking their cars or their houses. Fargo PD is trying to change this behavior with a PR campaign entitled "Lock It or Lose It."

I can tell you it's been a nightmare trying to find any kind of rental property here in the Dickinson, ND area! The real estate ads here vary as far as buying price but seemed like a few deals might be found depending on your needs/wants.
