to Grand Forks, and I was just wondering of any good websites that anyone may know of that would contain restaurant coupons, or major retailer coupons. Any help would be appreciated.
I live in the Grand Forks area....only organized coupon book I have seen around is called The Valley Buzz. It is not on the internet for downloading, but it is available for free at many hotels and restaurants. My best advice is to check with the Greater Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau which is located just off the exit of I-29 and Highway 2 (Gateway Dr) just in front of the Holiday Inn. You can do a google search for this site to get contact info and they can probably send you one in the mail or offer other suggestions. I assume you are Canadian (since you mentioned coming down) and the visitors bureau often has special discount info for Canadian visitors. I have seen quite a few more Manitoba plates this year as the CDN has risen close to .90US early this summer.
Best I can do for you....hope it helps some. I did a google search and found nothing else than the above.
Thanks for the tip. Yes, I'm Canadian, don't hold it against me, LOL!!
The dollar is quite good for us now, but unfortunately, it works both ways. We're not seeing as many Americans as we used to. Somehow, I think when we get to the New Year and the passport rule starts to apply, it'll be even worse. Let's hope for the best. Thanks again!
We love Canadians down here....the new Canad Inn is going up now and should be ready in about a year I read. Water park and all with it similar to ones in Winnipeg. The Greater Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau web site does have a section on "deals" but they were all hotel and golfing packages, with CDN dollar at par. Other than that...most of the chain restaurants in town (like Boston's, Applebees, etc) dont seem to have any coupons or discounts out there available for the general public. Best bet again is to check with visitors bureau....they were helpfull when I moved to town several years ago.
