Thanks so much for the pics. We are moving to Bottineau next Month. Do you know if Bottineau celebrates Christmas by doing up the main street? I love Christmas and the decorations, I sure hope they do.

I can't speak for Bottineau from personal experience. But, I've observed in my 30+ years here in both Western and Eastern N.D. that one of the most wonderful things about N.D. besides that little "top of the steering wheel wave" which says....I don't know you, but since you are traveling on my home town road you've got to be related to someone that I do know"....They all deck out and have beautiful holiday celebrations. Get involved if you are inclined....w/ a local church, the school programs, if you aren't working go to the school and volunteer a day or two a week....the local nursing home...or where you work. You don't always get to be part of the "locals" in N.D. w/out a bit of time, and personal investment....but don't take that personal....take it as a challenge. Don't isolate, participate. N.D. is a wonderful place to raise a family.
