I am sitting here at the Imperial Swan and hubbie just came out and said he got a job!! So excited! They told him he would be in Dickinson but they were gonna fly him in and out of North Dakota. They were also hiring for Texas at $10.00, North Dakota at $21.00 an hour

So I wonder if these were Baker Hughes people or just hired hands?

Congratulations! And I'm glad he got on in North Dakota. Who wants to put up with the equally brutal weather conditions of Texas for $10 an hour?

Maybe I should rephrase that for clarity. All things considered, no one wants to get paid $10 and hour if they can get paid $21 an hour, unless for some reason that is their only option.
