The police haven't released many if any details linking the two suspects to the crime nor have they released any details about what happened. They seem to be secretive about it for some reason. Perhaps they're concerned that friends of the suspects could destroy evidence or that their may be additional suspects they have yet to apprehend.

The Law Enforcement has stated that they do not want to jeopardize this case or ongoing investigations.
If it were true I'd think he'd have been singing about it all by now and they wouldn't be needing land owners to be checking their property. Birds of a feather, they are both the same type.
