A pretty sad ending for a young man. Hopefully they can find out who he is, and how this happened. The comments section following the article are pretty telling of the mood of folks in our area.

I hope this wasn't the guy who wanted to walk to ND a few months ago. I think he was coming from Michigan though, so unless he got really lost I don't think he would have made it this far. Still, if it was exposure then hopefully it will serve as a warning to the newbies. |

Velvet, I wondered same thing. Hopefully it isn't any of the homeless, but the alternative is not good either. The authorities are investigating, lets hope they find out soon what happened.

I got a post deleted in thread when I really thought the author of the thread was trying to joke.. walk across 4 states? Maybe biking, in the summer....

Not sure what you mean, if you mean the "Walking to N.D." thread...I just checked, it was still there, however the op hasn't posted anything new since before Christmas. |

I am glad they found out who it was at least, but so very sad for his family and friends. It was pretty cold that week, but hard to say what happened.
