Seems the Bakken Oil Boom is touching more than the Dakota's and Montana....it's a good thing

Boise area now beneficiary of the Oil & Gas/Bakken-Shale Boom in Dakota

Wonder if anyone has more examples to share??

I live in boise, and most of the companies here are paying min wage including the company taking about building these homes. I find that there are always minimum wage jobs to be had, so it would be nice to see them pay a wage you can live on from this increase in business.

That is too bad, because you know that the company must be making alot of money w/ the high demand. If there are enough sold to N.D. perhaps those workers will venture to N.D. and participate in the new "hourly wealthy" folks working in the oil fields here.

This happens everywhere. When the housing boom was happening in places like Florida and the Arizona builders were charging an absolute premium on houses but none of that went back to the workers. If anything wages dropped during the 2000s, as builders hired more and more illegals to do what had been trade jobs. You use to be able to make a decent living being a carpenter or dry wall finisher. Not anymore. These companies are traitors to the nation and their owners should be treated as such.
