Mainly small town living, and being close to Canada where I would like to have a cabin someday. I just thought the town of Pembina with the duty free, and border crossing was an interesting town with interesting opportunities.

We are in IN too, and I told my husband today that I wanted to live in ND. I'm tired of being broke all the time. My husband took a $10/hr paycut when we moved to IN. He has the potential to make twice as much in ND as a diesel tech (22 yrs exp). I know the housing situation isn't ideal but our plan is for him to get hired via internet, and then send him up there to live until he can bring me and the kids up. Just wish we knew someone up there he could stay with until we do move. He's not the adventerous sort, but I am. And I like what you said about you can be poor anywhere, why not ND!! I love that lol
