"You need a place to live this is the most important thing. Yeah you could live in your car here but it won't do much good for getting you a job. These places will respect the fact that you planned your move and got housing taken care of prior to getting here. All the places I've been are impressed that we planned everything out for a few months and got things in order on our end. And thus regardless of experience they can tell you want to get a career and not just a paycheck"
Moneymike22,
Please can you shade more light on how you got a place to live before actually getting to ND?
Did you do that from out of state or you went there (ND) first and got housing taken care of and returned back later to look for work?
Is your above observation applicable to having a local telephone number as against out of state telephone number?
I know it is difficult to answer this last question but try:- Based on your experience how much do you think (opinion) is reasonable to sustain one (conservatively) for two weeks there excluding housing? Or how much did you have on you on arrival in ND? (housing excluded since you have already taken care of that prior to arrival).
