G'day All,
Newbie to the forum, and was hoping to get some info? I finally have an interview on Tuesday for a water hauler position and although I'm completely ecstatic about the chance at a paycheck after nearly 2 years!!! I'm a little apprehensive about the move up to ND, (I'm living in California) I guess the company has openings in Belfield, Ross, Watford City, is one place better than the other as far as conditions? Housing issues, is one place better? Was thinking about buying a 5 th wheel to live in,but worried about finding a space for it? Really need Internet for studies ( trying to complete my degree online) ... I'd really appreciate any feedback also feel free to pm me. Thanks in advance. Have a safe great day.
All 3 areas that you mentioned are hard up for housing. We have a lot of people here in Minot that commute the 1+ hour drive to each of these locations. As for a 5th wheel, buying one in Calif would freeze before even entering our state. Temps today will reach a high of -1. If you can afford it, fly up, rent a car, and check out each of the areas personally and the road conditions. We have had a record amount of auto accidents due to a lot of out of state people that cannot slow down and cannot figure out what black ice is. So be extremely careful when driving here.

Thanks for the feedback, I live in snow country in California and can appreciate what you say about the road conditions and the black ice. As for the RV, I am looking at one with an Arctic Rating so hopefully that will do the job. Do you know of any RV Parks that have vacancies? Also see that you are a realtor, is the demand for apartments still as high as ever? I obviously would consider renting something if the rates are reasonable, but figured it would be easier to get into an RV space than a residence.
Thanks again.
If the company you have interview with begins with an M and ends with an I , as I feel it does , Ross is were you want to be. They have housing available.
