I am in my 50's and been building houses by myself for the past 25 years. I currently reside in California and lack of work and high cost of living is making it hard for me to live here.
I keep hearing about this oil boom in North Dakota and the lack of houses. Is it be possible for me to move there and start building houses? I have equipment, truck and $50K in cash.
Possible if you bring your own RV trailer and want to live in the western side. If you want to be in central where Minot or Bismarck is at, you will find plenty of rentals but at a high price. 1br for $800-$1600.
The lack of housing is no more. Williston still has some shortages. We will be having a construction fare soon to advertise for workers of all skills. Contact www.jobsnd.com when the job fare comes to Williston and Minot.
