Anything of interest to see and stop for along the route? I'd certainly take a break in LaMoure for food, gas, stretching my legs, and taking photos of the county courthouse.

I'm starting to put together a schedule for a post-retirement visit to the US in 2020, and ND is on my bucket list. Plan to rent a car in Bismarck and do some driving, with the attraction in Wahpeton being the WW1 memorial.

11 and 13 pretty much parallel each other and stay about 11 miles part. If you flip back and forth between them you can see some nice quaint lakes along with several interesting "Ghost Towns" such as Cogswell and Cayuga.

Thank you, Woodrow, that's a great suggestion. Ghost towns are right up my street! I also see from my ND road atlas that there's Whitestone Hill State Historic Site, which would be a nice place to take a break.

My intention will be to stay overnight in Wahpeton, call in at Breckenridge MN, then travel back to Bismarck along I 94.
