Was originally looking at Grand Island, NE but now looking at Amarillo, TX and Bismarck, ND because North Dakota and Texas have lower taxes.

Doesn't West Virginia have low taxes?

If we are talking about the drought in North Dakota, then I can offer some comment. I was there in June and then again in July for a couple of days. Everything was still green (Bismarck area) and there was no superficial evidence of there being a drought. It did rain on one day and people said that they needed more. Everyone was very concerned about the drought and I was told that last winter there was hardly any snow.

Since ND is so reliant on its agriculture then a drought is a big deal there. I hope that it ends soon and the farmers get all the rain that they need.
