Does anybody have any contacts or information about oil field work or support jobs in Western ND and/or Eastern MT.
I'm looking at relocation but I'd like to find a GOOD paying job to relocate FOR...

I looked in the Williston paper...but NO JOY.

Any help would be appreciated

There are hundreds of jobs open (if not thousand's) in the oil industry in eastern MT, western ND...you are not going to find too many posted in the local papers, because there are too many to list. Most of the oil companies and services companies are based out of Williston, so you were looking in the right place. Minot has a couple companies moving in...and Dickinson is much like Williston...with lots of service companies based out of Dickinson...but again...Williston has the most.
You would be best to use the ND job service Job Service North Dakota
they even have on-line applications you can download.

a couple other sites to look into

To give you a feel of what is going on in the Williston Basin which is home to the Bakken formation that everyone is buzzing about.

But use jobsnd.com and you will find all the towns and jobs available in the oil industry. Good Luck!

Housing is still an issue in Williston...but I was up there over the 4th...LOTS of building going on... some new apartment buildings are going up (but have heard they are all spoken for by various oil companies)...but more are coming. The best housing option at this time would be the Sand Creek mobile home park that was recently opened...they are advertising they have NEW manufactured homes for sale or rent. The park appears to be about 1/3 full at the moment...with lots of new homes sitting on blocks ready to be set up.
