I'm planning a trip from Idaho to Fargo in late February. I have tried to get travel/road info for that time of year but all the info i find is for current travel. Can someone tell me if travel that time of year is safe on the roads or if i will encounter a lot of snow and ice

Best bet is to check weather close to your trip....as yes there can certainly be wintry weather....but odds are there are more dry days than snowy days (well maybe not this year ) And outside of a day or two after a big storm the main interstates and highways are kept in good shape.

Honestly there is no way to tell. What part of ND will you be visiting. You see...we have had like...honestly 4 major storms in Fargo in the past 5 or 6 weeks. AND... lately they have been predicting TONS of snow..and we don't get a flake. Its the flatness and wind that makes our weather hard to predict. The best bed is googling ND weather/road condtions or call 611 from your cell phone. Let me know if u have other questions!

there is going to be ice/snow, it's snowed several feet in the state and it probably won't be melting off anytime soon. Most of the time, the roads are pretty good, but the best bet would be to check the road conditions just before your trip, ya ever know around here
