This is really sad. Three young women found dead. This proves you're not safe no matter where you live. I sure hope they catch the killer or killers. May these 3 women rip & justice be properly served. Two of the women were from california (1 nearby-lake Elsinore,ca) http://news.mobile.msn.com/en-us/art...1&aid=33597582

It sounds like it was an awful accident, they dont suspect foul play. Very sad, they were so young.

If you don't know your surroundings in a rural area, especially when it is dark... it can be very dangerous if you are driving around on back roads. You can be following a gravel road that turns into cattle trail, and end up stuck, or in this case, submerged in a stock pond. This happens quite often in some of the western states that do a lot of irrigating. People get lost and drive around in the dark and drive into irriagtion canals. I feel so bad for the families and friends of these young ladies. My thoughts and prayers go out to them all.

I am watching NBC news as they are talking about this as I'm typing. I'm with eagle7 on this, just a terrible, terrible accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the three students.

Wow, that's really awful. Guess you can never be too careful when driving around at night, especially out in the country.

It's good lesson for children to stay on the road and not drive through fields. What an awful way to die.
