I like winter. I like the cold.
But man, it's frickin COLD out there.

Forecast lows next two nights = singles, maybe the big Z..
Throw another log on the fire and pour another glass of home-made wine kind of weather if you ask me.

This morning the cold went through my bones and I woozied out on the great outdoors. Got some bid work done, delivered a couple in person, and was notified I was awarded two bids on a major project.

Great day biddness wise...

On my ride around the country block in the Greater Metropolitain White Haven Area (impressive - heh Reston??), I snapped a few pics with my beloved idiot-proof Kodak digital camera.

You know it's cold when the Azaleas and Laurels curl up like a Heroin Junkie going through the DT's:

Nice analogy... Heyna or No???

My dog froze to the ground while taking a P, I had to give it a kick to free it up. Poor dog thought he did something wrong and gave me the sad eye BS..

After we came in the house, I told it everythig was cool - Couch-Up..

For a special treat I turned on the boob tube and let it watch Regis & Kelly. I think the crazy Mutt has a thing for Kelly Rippa..

Mod cut - copyright/inappropriate

Ya know what I mean Vern? Heyna or No?

Afterwards:
I headed down past my neighbors house. Their family owns & operates a several hundred acre farm, small beefstock operation. They have a nice piece of property, free range chickens, cows, horses and a crazy goat called Goatie.

Being a trusted neighbor, I have permission to hunt their spread at night.
What farmer would deny a guy called VarmintBlaster?

Nice sniping spot along a food plot:

After my errands were done, I headed home:

Hopefully, in an hour or so, I'll be deep in a wine-induced nap - on a very cold NEPA afternoon.

Every state has snow but Florida........and Florida is no picnic now either in degrees.

Some warmth is headed this way, thank goodness. Anything above 50 is great.....please.

These temperatures are mild.

In 1988 (I think) I worked five nights in a row where the temperature went down to -20 and colder. -20 is painful to work in. Your eyes and nose run. Of course; your beard starts to freeze right around zero. I’m glad that I don’t work on an unheated freight dock anymore.

Have any hunters ever tried to hog dress a deer at -15 and colder? That is an experience that you don’t forget.
