If you are using the forum search engine; it isn't that good. Many times it is easier to just Google what you are looking for and Google will take you to old City Data threads.

Don't forget that City Data also has a world forum, US forum and forums by the states (including PA). If you click on the US Forums, at the top of this page, and scroll down to "General Forums"; you will see many categories. Some, like gardening and nature, are my favorites. But there are many subjects covered.

Our moderators try to keep us focused on the subject. They will move post or delete them - but I think they do a great job. Do not take it personally if your post do get moved or deleted - most of us have experienced that many times. We usually understand why they did what they did.

Our Northeastern thread has been pretty dead lately. So I really like to hear from anybody new. I don't know what area your from - but, if I can help; just holler. I'm down in Monroe County not too far from the casino (which we don't go to).

I hear you CarbonCountyLiving, I am not one to complain about the weather.......what can be done about it? But, WOW, this is too much. I think there will be lots of celebrating when spring finally arrives......and I don't mean just the date of Spring, I mean Spring weather!!!

I have an aching shoulder and my wife has an aching back. Plus I am now doing her choirs until she feels better.

I know that we will feel better when I catch up with that groundhog in the Spring! We blame him for everything. We never want to hear "Six more weeks of winter" again!

I have a friend who is going through a difficult time, so we met for a little while last night to talk. The next thing we knew it was after midnight and we both have work today..........needless to say, I am moving slow even with the sun shining!!!
