Summering, I lost my best friend Odie (and he really was an Odie) around 5 years ago and still miss him to this day, but I smile when I remember all the fun we had. At least we have all the wonderful memories.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your dog, Summering. It's so hard to lose a pet. Wish there was something I could do to help ease your pain.

Thank you so much everyone of my wonderful CD friends.........It was a hard week. I didn't think it would hit so hard and strong. We were not going to get a dog........Easier for travel. Easier for overnights. No worries, no woes........
But.......We are the owners of the cutiest little Shih Tzu and her name is Maddie....
Maddie Carolina ......
This was the best medicine. She sleeps all night and she plays so cutely.
I will always love my Meister, he was my sweet little man.....and in dog years he lived to 111.
What more can I ask of him.
I will do a picture of Maddie soon.......You will fall in love with her. I am so happy I was lead to her
and this was meant to be.
Hugs to you all........Sum

So for all of you who were so kind to mention your sadness at the loss of my dear Meister........
I want you to know that new pup "Maddie" is doing so very good. She has always slept through the night. She heads outside when needed...and she plays so cutely.
Her only problem is chewing. So she has a lot of chew toys.
It is so very healing to have another dog by my side. I will never forget Meister who was so intelligent and my shadow..... He will always be in my heart.

I have been down south listening to all the snow talk. Some are lovin' it, some are not.
To tell ya' the truth with my driveway I am best off right where I am in SC.
The driveway is a dream in the spring and summer, but in winter it can be a horror.
Somehow though, when hearing about a snow storm, I really miss the event.
Kens pictures are so interesting and the many pictures that come my way from back home.
My house in PA is socked in, sky high in snow.
It will be fun one year to see what the new " Maddie" pup thinks of snow.
I miss everyone back home and love hearing your news......

Wondering if you all remember the Brazil girls that wrote us and asked about the Poconos and Camelback?
Well, in one more week " Line " will be arriving at our Myrtle Beach Airport to visit here at our home for a week. We are very excited. Its been a couple of years since our meeting her.
She chose not to head home with her good friend, but to head south from Newark/Liberty to see us.
How sweet...........So we have booked a show at the Palace Theater, and a show at Alabama Theater for her to enjoy. We also have set up an adventure to Charleston...( and a sitter for Maddie)....
Sometimes life makes me really smile.....This is one of those times.
