You have a great day! Yes it looks like a beautiful day. I just turned on our outside water for our ducks today. That makes it a lot easier than hauling water from our house. The fifteen day forecast has night time temperatures all over freezing.

Of course, I pick tomorrow to escape the cold and go back to Puerto Rico til the 16 th...
I hate when that happens.

I like to think that my nabes and family are cursing me as I bask in the warmth of the tropical sun.

On the upside...my daffodils and Forsythia will be in bloom upon my return, and my Utility bill will be a bit easier to take than this months bill....it was a screamer.

Hope you all enjoy the upcoming temperate weather...shake off that Cabin Fever!

Don't pay the ransom!! I escaped!!

Just returned home after 11 days and 10 nights in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. My sorry butt was dragged to the ER on the 26th and I was so worried that you guys would go all out of control without me here to watch over you.

I won't be doing too much for the next week or so while I try to regain my lost strength and figure out when I'm supposed to take all these new medications I've been prescribed.

When I recoup from the trip home across the river, I plan to take a nice shower and use every ounce of hot water in the tank!!

Carry on.

Wow, TG...glad you are home, that's a long time to be in Hospital.

Take things slow, one step, one day at a time in your recovery...

Magoo Mojo and prayers sent out to you.

Luke.

Congrats on the great escape! Hope you are feeling much better. After that much time in the hospital I would have the big one when I saw the bill! Hope you also have great insurance.

Hang around all you want to in-between showers. When I was passing kidney stones; hot showers, running water on my back, was the only relief I got - of course, sooner or later, I still had to get out of the shower! I did think the shower was better pain relief than the prescribed Tylenol III with codeine.

Have a very speedy recovery!

Thanks all, for the good wishes. I don't have my old git-up-n-go but I'm hopeful that I can get back most of it in a week or two. For now, it's enough to toast a bagel, figure out all the new meds, and take naps. You have no idea how tiring it is to just chew!! lol

when you don't feel well, chewing takes too mush energy. slicing the bagel is too much work. that's when you wonder why all of your soup is in cans rather than boxes. it's a good day when to can wash your face, brush your teeth and hair and change your clothes. no trophies or ribbons, but that can feel as though you've completed a triathlon.
