Well I managed to get the clothes off, and put clean ones on, and in between that feat, I managed to get in the shower and prepare a base. It took a tad longer than usual, but since I didn't fall asleep mid-wash I think I did at least half of that triathlon.

Still awake, I heated up the nice roast beast dinner my dtr-in-law dropped off for me and now I'm ready for whatever happens. As long as all that happens is bedtime. Thinking back to my youth and the times I stayed out all night and still showed up for work in the morning, I'm so glad I did it then because I don't have that kind of stamina today.

When I think of theater and gypsy; I think of tiptoeing through the tulips. I hope that you are getting better everyday and it will not be too long until you are fully recovered!

Sorry folks, but on Thurs and Fri, I was entertaining the staff at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital - again. Yes, I was readmitted on Thurs afternoon, after medication side-effects (too gross to go into detail!) were too serious to ignore.

Having been discharged, I had to go through the whole admitting process again and then prep for a colonoscopy, which is always a treat. Not. After scoping yesterday, I had a few medication adjustments and was allowed to go home.

I hasten to assure you that a particular medication was the culprit in this second admission and some of the doctors are having a problem understanding why other doctors are prescribing this pill so freely. Of course, I'm no longer taking the offender, and am back to my 81 mg. ASA daily.

I've returned for the foreseeable future. I think.

Glad you escaped again! Perhaps you should try a new wig and mustache so they don't recognize you and haul your butt back! I know that we all have to go sometime; I would just rather take the rain check!

Hope you stay out of jail this time! Besides; you have one performance coming up playing Gypsy Rose Lee - get practicing!

and you didn't even have your gypsy rose lee ostrich feather fan.

i'd love to know the name of the drug. my mother had an "event", otherwise known as a minor stroke from the prescription arthritis pain medication her doctor ordered. i can't remember the name. i do remember the commercial because it featured seniors doing tai chi, and mom had taken lessons for a few years.

my husband's uncle became quite ill and has lingering health problems from taking cipro.

at least you're no longer taking it.

I went to the Hotel Casino today in Ponce Puerto Rico...I am not much of a Gambler..

my Father -in Law gave mi esposa and I a crisp Benjamin each for our Wedding Anniversary on March 11...he went to the Blackjack tables and my wife and I started dumping Money in the slots...

I won 168 bucks real quick and bought the house a round of drinks...78 bucks...easy come easy go...

weather is delightful...was up in the Sierra a few days back in a town called Aibonito...highest point in PR...met the family of a lovely young lady that is the Service Mgr.for the Jeep Dealership I bought my Cherokee from in Langhorne Pa.

I told her I was going to my place in PR and she insisted I visit her parents...she told me they are 'getting old'...'getting up there'..her Mami is 45, her Papi...47 I think...very nice hospitable couple... getting old...indeed.

We rented a Jeep Wrangler for the trip up into the Mountains...it was beautiful up there, like a Rain Forest...so green.

I came back early from my trip to PR in Feb. because if some stomach pains..

After 2 weeks of MRI, Cat scan, and an ultrasound they found the cause...but not before they gave me the scare of my life with a mis- diagnoses of a Pancreas growth.

Got a touch of 'Montezuma's Revenge on this trip from the Airline food and was not a Happy Camper for the first three days in PR. last week.

Viva la Kaopectate!

Weather looks very temperate in NEPA....and in my home town of Trenton, Zoo Jersey.

Daffodils are blooming in my front yard...per my nabe watching my Casa.

other than the dodgy airline food, it sounds as though you're having a good time. is something going around? my gut has been complaining for a couple of days...and i ate at home.

i'd like to go to Aibonito. funny that you knew someone who had family there. you might not have ever gone there otherwise.

you did mention becoming ill when you were last there. there's nothing like having a death sentence lifted to put you in a festive mood.

Back in the 1970's I got Montezuma's Revenge in Mexico City. Nobody really wants to try that out. You have to have the hopper very close to the sink because you cannot fit your head in the same hole!

Of course it was a trip that treated us like royalty with 100 and 150 foot long buffets - I had to try everything and everything caught up with me!

Festive mood...Si, last night the Mojitos were going down very easy and I had to rein myself in from la vita loca

We had gone to a little fishing town called Boqueron last week that still functions as such, but over the last 23 years I been going it is getting a bit touristy.

The fishing boats come in from the Bay of Boqueron laden with the sweetest little, but deep oysters, and clams a Bit larger then a Silver Dollar, they dump them in a pile on these colorful ceramic tables, they are not chilled, straight, warm from the bay, the vendors start shucking them...

There are sliced limes, Picante sauce, a cilantro/ garlic sauce and ice cold Medallia beers to wash the shellfish down...
3.50 a doz. Can't beat that with a bat..I'm good for three dozen easy...

Really shouldn't have after just having some stomach issues, but it's hard to throw over twenty years of tradition out the window.

Hope you feel better Gerania, and your remark about never visiting Aibonito is spot on...We always go for the coastal region, but it was a nice trip, and the fiid was excellent, more veggie, fruit and carnebased over seafood.
