actually Uncle Bernie wasn't anymore of a drinker than my dad or his other brothers..one bro.Uncle Eddie.had a bar in Plains In the 50s-60s ..
back yard abutted the high school football field..we used to watch the games from the second floor porch, eating peanuts and popcorn as well as pickled pigs feet from a big gross jar from the bar..

cool stuff.
