you are right about the shrimp..I keep a 3-5 lb bag of quality frozen shelled and deveined med- large shrimp in the freezer for emergency purposes..

you can take out as much as you need..
I keep the bag well sealed..I even put a wooden clothespin on the sealed package.
I don't use the clothes pins but they are in freezer bags.

yup..nailed it..
my Dad enlisted in WWII..quit Kings College..he was Stateside coaching Fleet Basketball Team..(will post pic) i Norfolk..they found out about his Year 1/2 college stint..offered him Navy Officer School, he said 'Hell No'...next thing he is promoted to CWO with the Seabees and sent to the Pacific....

His area was attacked by Japanese bombers with fighter escort 17 days after arrival in country..his unit..22 Officers and men as well as 63 civvie Construction guys suffered 38% casualtues.

Gerania...this is what became of the original Mr.Peanut at the Square in downtown Wilkes Barre..
