We own a vacation home in Greentown, and are looking for a public dump site for our accumulated trash. Some of our neighbors have a paid service they call in, but I don't mind doing a little driving if it means saving a few bucks and am wondering if there's a public (free) dump we can bring our waste to.

I noticed on the way to the house some sort of seemingly public area off the road that has numerous bins, possibly for recycling. I'm not certain of the specific road it is on, but we take Rt. 80 to Rt. 447/209 to 390 so it is on one of those semi-main roads.

Do you travel down through Mt. Pocono? If you do there is one in Pocono Summit: https://www.bing.com/mapspreview?&ty...22775&v=2&sV=1.
