ROEBLING was the master at designing suspension bridges. the design of the brooklyn bridge was his baby as well as the first suspension bridge the roebling bridge. it spans the delaware river.

its right by the point the delaware and the lackawaxen river meet.

I've been there and it's beautiful. Nice pix.
John Roebling's death is so tragic. He was injured while working on the Brooklyn Bridge, contracted tetanus, and that led to his death. The bridge was finished by his son. The Brooklyn Bridge, not the one in the pictures.
