Hello Everyone!

Could anyone please share what diversity exists in the area? How are black and brown individuals treated? Are black kids accepted within the broader group? Would you recommend this area for a family moving from a very diverse metropoliation area.

Thank you in advance for any input that will help our family

My impression of Lewisburg is of a very prosperous, upscale college town, home to Bucknell University which is known as one of the "Little Ivies". They have a pretty extensive antique market downtown, and lots of places to grab brunch.

In other words, you should be fine in Lewisburg because it's full of wealthy white liberals. It's not one of these downtrodden coal cities where out of work high school dropouts will view you as competition for a job at the Amazon Distribution Center.

Thank you for this! I think race relations are very tough now and I want to avoid any pain and heartache for my 3 young children and wife. They have already been through enough and I do not want to move them somewhere that will make their lives even more tough.
