Does anyone know of local inexpensive family friendly happenings this weekend? The weather is suppose to be good and was hoping to do something with lil man and hubby! Usually I am not concerned about pricing, but we are taking a family weekend back to the island next weekend so hubby would bust a blood vessel if spent too much this weekend! I am a bit worn out of Mcdade and Nay Aug...but if something is happening...who knows!

Ice skating? Isn't it still a bit too warm? Or is there an indoor rink?

The outdoor rink here in Reston is open. If it's not too warm here then I'm assuming it's cool enough back in NEPA. Then again we had twice the winter you did last season.

I couldn't go ice skating even if the rink was still in business...I had surgery on10/15 and can not excercise yet! Nothing but walking for a few more weeks. About two weeks ago my lil man and I were at McDade and I decided to try his trike scooter. WELLLLLLLLLL, to make a long story short, I wiped out on a turn and used my left hand to stop a full face plant! Ouch.....doctor asked me what I was thinking? I told him I was thinkingI was more coordinated then I really am! LOl...he didnt think it was funny!

I will check out happenings online...thanks for the link!
