hey y'all... Noob here...My fam on my moms side is from Miners Mills, Dad's fam hails from Plains...
Someone told me there was an old post on this site about the old Silent Movie theater across the street form my Babci's house (she lived on Dillon Street)
I remember visting her in the 50s-60s and going to that theatre for 'free Movies' on the weekend....
Anyone remember them?
My parents are buried in SS Peter and Paul Polish church cemetery...they lived in New Jersey but went 'back home' to the family plot.

I went to visit their graves in October, lovely ride through the Mountains in full color driving my nimble BMW 5 speed.
Gotta check out and see if the old theatre is still there next visit.
Thanks for letting me share.

I think that the thread was about a different theater.

Theater in Miners Mills

I'm so glad that you had a pleasant journey, a good visit. Try to ensure that your next trip to the area coincides with an annual church bazaar. I know that you can see it... and smell, hear, feel and taste it.

thanks for the reply...I think I made a mistake in writing my post...it seems that I am saying the Theater was on Dillon street...
this theater was on the other side of East Main street...St Clair street looks/sounds familiar.
Cant wait til my spring visit...I was in Miners Mills and Plains on Veterans Day to put Flags on my Dad's and Uncles graves.

cheers!
