its a shame that shes leaving, because she was hot.

Considering we dont have real local news, we might as well have eye candy right?

with all the corruption in the area theres a lot to report, but instead we see ridiculous stories about how people always buy kielbasa for christmas, how there was a fire or what churches are having some kind of gathering

People still watch WBRE? I've familiarized myself with major media outlets now in two major cities---Washington, DC and Pittsburgh---and WNEP is by far the best newcast I have ever seen.

Local news stations *always* broadcast stories like that. It's not unique to PA.

*shrug* I was never one to base my watching/listening/reading preferences on things that don't directly affect me (like someone getting fired). If he got fired from two jobs in a row, methinks that is his problem vs. his employers.

You'll see those kinds of stories on Philly or NY news stations too. They need to balance the hard news with fluff or else viewers will commit mass suicides.
