Remember I saw a house last summer where a dentist brutally murdered his wife? I went into the house and it felt really strange.
Also the seller would not enter the house and while it was pretty nice and the price was very reasonable - I could not do it.

Well it takes place in Wilkes Barre although it was shot in Utah
Go figure.

But I thought that a few of you might be looking for some mind candy - of the local variety.
On at 8 PM ch. 40

Sheena

Having known some of the principals, it's hard for me to watch this movie. I've seen it once, and read the book.

Sorry to hear that Theatergypsy. Were they close?

Do they ever mention that it's in Wilkes Barre? So far they are saying Glenside Park.
I thought that they mentioned W.B. and pronounced it incorrectly. Which I would not really resent because even oldtimers can't agree.

OH It's back...

I had seen it before, but watched it. It was very disurbing because of the child in the house as well. Twenty years did not seem enough.

It seemed like a slap on the wrist, I agree.
He lives in Wilkes-Barre now.

Does he still live in Wilkes-Barre? Some of my older relatives know the people involved in the case. The house is still for sale.

Did you know about the murder before you looked at the house Sheena?

Yes, he lives in a townhouse looking place in the South Side of Wilkes Barre, with is mother.
He is no longer a dentist, he is a contractor.
I met the man who was selling the house in the lobby of the Genetti Hotel. He discribed the house and it sounded nice. So I called my broker and I told him that I had met a man who was selling a house that sounded nice. He asked me for the street and he said "Birch"
My broker said "NOT 75 Birch?" So I asked the seller what the address was and it was confirmed that house indeed was "75"

"I said what's wrong?" to my broker and he told me that there was a murder there but not much else. The seller was like 10 feet from me. He asked if I wanted to see it and I said yes.
I thought that if I felt nothing that was one thing.
If the house felt strange, it was another. And I admit to being curious.

I did not have any time to research the murder on the internet. I was right there with the seller the whole time.
While waiting for my sellers broker to arrive I asked "Did something bad happen in that house?"
He said "well a woman was killed there in the 80s.... it's a great house."

When I got to the house we noticed that the seller began a very passionate and involved cell phone conversation. His agent arrived after we did and she ushered us into the house.
The seller NEVER ENTERED.

I walked in and I walked strait to The Room. I heard my broker say to the sellers broker "she found it" she said back "yeah she did."

I felt like I couldn't breath. My head hurt. and later I found out the whole story.

I took care of his mother a few years ago at a hospital, he showed up frequently with his daughter and gave us all the creeps. I thought he lived in Shickshinny now and has a dental practice down there. look it up.
