I don't know about price, but we always use Di Rienzo carpet warehouse in Taylor (If that is not to far)
They are very nice and they don't sub-contract out their installers.

There is the greatest carpet installer his name is John, and for the life of me I can't recall his last name, but is is the best in the business and he does work on the side. Even though he install for all the carpet stores, he works for himself. He did 2 of our houses and he is the best.

Today is your lucky day: His name is John Oakley. Stop by one of the stores and tell them you are a personal friend and trying to get in touch with him.

If you go to Walker Carpet on Hamlin Highway, the owner will give you his number. Good luck!
