What was the regions biggest news story of the year. My vote goes to the flooding in the Wyoming Valley in September. That was a huge story and impacted the most people, What do you vote for?

I would have to say the flooding for top local stories....even though Penn State has a lot of alumni and football fans in NEPA, its not local. That said I would love nothing more than for Jerry Sandusky to be brutally tortured and then hung from a tree.

The cash for kids scandal gets my vote although that Jerry Sandusky guy does strike a nerve with the whole country. Not just locally.

Wow! When did you find Mr. Sandusky guilty and when were you appointed judge?

I'd go for the flooding too. Traumatizes everyone-adults and kids.

I don't know about the appropriateness of a public execution, as Mr Yuk advocates, but what are the odds that dozens of accusers are all lying? What are the odds that an assistant coach didn't really see this old guy plowing a kid in the locker room?

Kids seem to get over it quick, they just don't realize. We had a fire and my Brothers kids weren't effected that much yet they lost everything for the most part. Same house that burned would have been flooded. My other Brother had his house flooded and his kids seem to be alright for the most part except the youngest one, with Christmas coming it will certainly be a little tough.
