I wanted to start a thread that will hopefully morph into a sticky for all NEPA residents to refer to. One of the best things about NEPA is the farming community. I am familiar with the farming community in the Abington's having grown up there and having family in farming.

Farmers typically do not have advertising budgets to get the word out on items they offer. Facebook has helped but I thought if people could use this as a platform for shoppers to tell stories of a purchase or experience with a local farm they have had. it may encourage newcomers to venture out to visit these places and see how rich in history the NEPA agricultural community is.

Spring Hills Farm, Organic Farmimg and Nature Conservation Spring Hills farm is a must Stop.

Pallmans Farm during strawberry season. I think it is a dollar per bucket and you go out and pick the berries.

Roba's tree farm has a corn maze and a reindeer on site. They have all kinds of kids activities.

Millers Orchard is another must stop. Miller's Orchard Farm Market

I do have to say, went to Miller's Orchard this year for the first time in a few years, and its gone way downhill. Its overgrown, not being kept up. It used to be comparable to Roba's, but not anymore.

I love Brace's, never been to their orchard, but they're always my first stop at the W-B farmers' market. They're also at the Scranton farmers' market.

Dymond's Farm Market on 309 in Dallas - fruits and veggies in season and wonderful baked goods, jams and candy.

Dymond's farm is a great place to go to pick strawberries. Bring your own containers. (I don't advise you to plan on this until July). They have a website you might enjoy.
