Can anyone recommend a good place to go apple picking? Also, has anyone had some great Halloween pumpkin experiences as far as places to go. My little one is a little over 2 and I think she will really enjoy it this year.

Thanks in advance "The Hat"

I know you are a bit far but we go to Roba's in Clarks Summit. It is a ways to go but my kids have so much fun there. Petting zoo, horse rides, puppet shows, play area, etc and it's very reasonably priced.
I'd like to find somewhere a bit closer though so I'm interested in seeing where other people recommend!

Thanks Poconomama, I did a search earlier today. By gosh you think I would get a ton of hits especially here in the moutains...but no luck. I think we may take a ride to a place in August NJ (can't remember the name) right across from the famous 1950's Chatterbox. We went last year and they had cider and homemade donuts to die for! They had hay rides, pumpkin patches and then we went to the Chatterbox for lunch.

Thanks for mentioning Roba's. I will look into it when I move West. Love Clarks Summit!

My parents house near Meshoppen always has great apples for picking this time of year.

Sorry, I don't think they are open to the public. Must be some nice places in the area, perhaps further north on Rte. 267.

I don't think you can actually pick apples at Roba's, but you can buy them.

I think you can pick apples out at Brace's Orchard in the Back Mountain of Luzerne County, but that's probably much too far of a drive.

My daughter went there for the first time and they just loved the place.
What fun.........the kids had a ball. I think you can goggle it and see a few great pictures of things to do. It does cost to get in however....

Miller's on Fairview Rd in Clarks Summit.

You can actually pick them there.

You cannot pick them at Roba's.
