No sorry, I posed the question and NOBODY really answered it. You guys did a great two step dance around it, but no real answers.

Umm because the area has and was founded primarily by Irish catholics. If you dislike it perhaps you should consider relocating to Hazelton or Allentown both areas are more Hispanic for you.
