To all the simple people, old people or the very mentally challenged people of the Wyoming valley. Please! Please! Please remember this one little thing. The left on the ave is the passing lane again the passing lane! I know when you get on the big bad ave in Exeter and are turning at forty fort town hall that you think you may never get back in the left lane, but you will, I promise!
Again left lane pass right lane old people, scared people and mentally challenged.

thanks

The speed limit on the Ave, Rte 11, is 25 mph in Exeter. It picks up again to 35 mph in Wyoming just below Pizza Lov'n and it's seldom that I have a problem maintaining that speed, regardless of which lane I'm in.

Since I travel that stretch frequently, I manage to do so without difficulty, the exception being the person who constantly changes lanes.

Just in case you weren't aware, the speed limit applies to both lanes. Maybe if you left 10 minutes earlier...?

You'd be that person I see weaving in and out traffic that is always stopped at the next light? LOL

I can understand the frustration on the Interstate or if it was during a time of the day when traffic was light but Wyoming Ave. is usually so packed with traffic it makes no difference.... You can't expect people r move over for you when the road is congested.

Yep. You're right. It doesn't make a difference. THEN MOVE TO THE RIGHT!
PROBLEM SOLVED

Well that would make a difference and considerably slow down traffic during congested times. Take it from someone that traveled between West Pittston and Plymouth nearly every weekday for 15 years. you're not going to get anywhere speeding down rt.11. You might get a few lights ahead of other people but that's the extent of it. I used to laugh at people speeding down that road because inevitably they would be at a dead stop at the next light. If you stay around 35 to 40 you can usually hit the greens all the way.

most of the local accidents i have seen here in the last 3 yrs were on wyoming ave and caused by those driving too fast for the posted limits and weaving in and out of traffic--if one needs to speed try 81 or cross valley--problem solved
