hi everyone
I found a place in the north east of pa, it is like a small farm where the owner sells some products including honey, actually there are a lot of small farms along the way between the towns who sell farm products. now I want to go back country and would like to take some honey as gifts for family but I am worried the honey will turn out to be not natural 100% and then I will be embarrassed. has anyone try those. I mean I am not from the US and I don't know if I shall trust those buyers especially that the honey is cheap, almost 15 for I think a kilo..

If you see a jar of honey with weight in kilos, it is not local.

There are many farmers markets in NEPA where you can buy locally produced honey. To find locations, enter search terms like "farmers market Stroudsburg" or "farmers market Scranton."

Those farms that have roadside stands usually also sell at farmers markets.

You need to be a bit more specific about what you found and where.
I've seen some farmers market stands where the produce is obviously not locally grown (tomatoes in May .... um, no...).
