Hi everyone!

I was wondering if you could tell me if there's anywhere to go apple picking and pumpkin picking around here? Here being, Delaware Water Gap, Tannersville, Wilkes Barre, Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Bartonsville areas? I've looked it up online but the ones I've found are more than an hour away from where I live, Tobyhanna. Also, does anyone know of any fall festivals and craft fairs around those areas?? Thank you!

Lonnie

The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival at Country Junction begins next Saturday (Sept. 28), would that be too far for you?

I found this old link to a PR article: From picking pumpkins to hayrides, families have plenty of oportunities for family fun | PoconoRecord.com. It is out of date but has some phone numbers that might help.

The only place that I know about is over in Effort:HeckmanOrchards.com. It looks like their apple/pumpkin picking days will be Oct. 11,12, and 13th.

PS Don't forget that we go to ten digit dialing as of today in the 570 area code!

Thank you for the replies. Where is the country junction? I remember years ago I went to a country junction store and it was GREAT!! Didn't it go on fire?

fisheye, Thank you. I'll check it out and yes, I heard about that on the news.
