Has anyone done it? I'm thinking about it, but I want to gauge it before I try so that when I actually do it I'm prepared.

I mostly cycle about 6 or so miles a day, sometimes if I head home during the day to get food, I end up with about 12.8 miles total, half of it is uphill (Hazle St I think), going from down town wilkes barre to ashley. I can do that whole ride without taking a break, but "the mountain" is an entirely different beast.

So, let me know how often you cycle if you've done it, and whether or not you find it to be difficult, try to rate it 1-10.

Really doesn't seem like a safe way to bike, is there enough shoulder? Haven't been up that way in a while. How about the "baby road" for Laurel Run?

I just did about 2 miles of it. I was going to Lackawanna state forest. There seems to be a really good amount of shoulder for what I did, didn't have any problems.

I do intend on going through that road you mentioned if I go the full way. Especially if I'm going down it, too many accidents there.

I've done it a few times. Not too bad so long as you pace yourself. I prefer to go down the mountain
