SWB, tell your partner to seek out qwerty37 and go to Genetti's. Any other singles looking for a party to table with converse here and book for the last seating at 2:30. Let me know if you are coming and I'll VIP it.

I give a vote to Wegman's as the best take home Thanksgiving around. As far as going out to eat, Genetti's from what I hear is very good. I have not gone to any good area restaurants yet. If you're in the Lehigh Valley I can give you a big list!

Thanks for the offer, but it won't be possible for he and I to rendezvous on Thanksgiving Day, given the fact that my family is probably eating our own meal around 2 PM. Have a happy Thanksgiving.

For future reference: "Wildflowers" Restaurant at the Best Western East Mountain Inn in Wilkes Barre (just off I-81 going south up the hill toward Bear Creek /Geisinger) is a very nice place...white linen, good food & service

Damenti's on 309 in Mountain Top (toward Hazleton) has for years enjoyed a superb reputation as one of the best restaurants in the area......experienced chefs.
Damenti's Restaurant for Distinctive Dining...

...wonderful atmosphere. The chef does huge ice sculptures in winter.....

Mathjak, I remember when you were writing ,trying to decide where to move too.
It sure sounds like you are happy at your new home.
Wondering if your children like it as much as you seem to..........
This will be your first winter this way, right?
It can be so beautiful. You seem comfortable in your new surroundings. Thats great!
