I give a vote to Wegman's as the best take home Thanksgiving around. As far as going out to eat, Genetti's from what I hear is very good. I have not gone to any good area restaurants yet. If you're in the Lehigh Valley I can give you a big list!

For future reference: "Wildflowers" Restaurant at the
Best Western East Mountain Inn in Wilkes Barre (just off I-81 going south up the hill toward Bear Creek /Geisinger) is a very nice place...white linen, good food & service
Damenti's on 309 in Mountain Top (toward Hazleton) has for years enjoyed a superb reputation as one of the best restaurants in the area......experienced chefs.
Damenti's Restaurant for Distinctive Dining...
...wonderful atmosphere. The chef does huge ice sculptures in winter.....

we went to the paupack country club for thanksgiving dinner. excellent buffet. you got to eat a bunch of everything and very resonably priced.
