I noticed that it doesn't have a sewer system but septic system. Do developments have dues like HOA communities?
I don't know how long back but I remember a realtor telling me the sponsor or developer for Highland Estates in Milford was bankrupt. What does that mean for those who bought land? How are they effected?
What are the average taxes in the Milford Highland area? It looks very centrally located but $40K for 10 acres- that just doesn't sound right. Too good to be true! Besides there have been so many of these fly by night developments and HOAs which were conceived pre-recession that we are really concerned this could be a trap and once we bought we would be in for a lot of problems because the development wasn't solvent or seeking bankruptcy protection.
Let me know what you think! Thanks
