I'm a full-time undergraduate student at King's College and am a loader for Lowe's Home Improvement in Edwardsville. Most people frown upon my position, but as with I LOVE PA it doesn't matter what others think about my position, as long as YOU love it, then don't let anyone else influence you. I actually don't mind bracing the elements; I even went out during the Fall 2006 tornado warning to help a customer in the parking lot as shopping carts blew in every which direction all around us and the store's sliding doors actually blew open (this being the Wilkes-Barre location at the time).

My responsibilities include loading purchases into customers' vehicles, running register during periods of heavy volume, cleaning up litter, emptying trash cans, distributing returns to their proper departments, etc. I was promoted twice at my old store (against my will actually), and the second promotion to a department I had no desire to learn (electrical) led me to quit there and seek employment at our sister store across the river.

Hers's some very good advice: Find something you love to do so much that you'd do it for free, and then find a way to get paid to do it.

In my case, these would be reading and typing. I was fortunate to find a company that pays me to type, and I'm also a proofreader - reading and proofing what others have typed. And I do it all from home, in my jammies if I want!

Smile Professional Videographer and A Daycare mom during the day

Yep, my husband and I shoot weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, parties, do photo montages onto DVD with music, memorial videos, commercials, graduations, sweet sixteens and more.
We shoot on the weekends and I edit in my home studio at night. We also supply other videographers with video equipment, albums, tapes, lens, lights, etc.
During the week I offer daycare for infants at my home here in Tunkhannock. I now have a beautiful 6 week old baby boy that I adore!!!
I also offer small petcare (little dogs, hamsters, birds, etc.) in my home but no cats, cuz I get itchy from them

It sure is great to have our own company. I love being home and making money!!
