All of Mr. Brown's books tend to center on shallow tabloid-type subjects. Wasn't he heavily involved in the Michael Jackson saga as well? He's an expert in tabloid reporting...maybe that explains how he ended up covering Scranton city government.

You didn't happen to mention that you're under a death sentence on twelve systems, did you? Just wondering...

So is appears the Lynetts are hiring plagiarists to write for their paper? I guess that's another clue that they don't care about fair and accurate reporting...they just want yes-men who will write what they want them to write. Plagiarism can get you kicked out of just about any college...but it can get you a job with the Times-Tribune. They should just give back that Pulitzer they won.

CHS89...you must be living under a rock to not believe that the Times is a politically slanted paper. That's pretty much common knowledge around here.

MrKrabs. blynett@shamrocknepa.com

Email him and tell him this please. If you have such an issue with the editors of the paper why not contact them and tell them.

Get an answer to your question.

Star Wars reference. Over your head, I guess...

Krabbs, every paper is slanted one way or the other. The Union News, for lack of a better example, has it's own slant, too. It just happens to slant more in Dan's direction, I suppose.

I just find it outrageously ironic that he'll blast the Times mercilessly here, but then turn around and copy paste entire articles (a blatant violation of copyright law, by the way) from the very same newspaper which he is blasting onto another sites to prove a point. Our next Mayor really needs to take a stand on an issue and stick with it. This waffling is not helping his already suspect credibility.

And, I'm sorry, can someone point me to where the plagiarism accusations proved to be anything more than that? I can't seem to find the articles that state that he was actually found guilty of plagiarism. All I'm seeing are accusations, nothing more.

The one from 1946, that had nothing at all to do with anyone or anything being discussed in this thread (or forum, for that matter)?

Oh, I get it. You were being smartasstic, weren't you? I get jokes.
