My wife and infant daughter are moving to Dingman's Ferry at the end of December from New York. Are there places, events, gatherings that mom's with kids go to? The area is so beautiful, but I imagine for someone coming in from the "outside" it could be a little difficult to make new friends. Also, are there any Catholic churches nearby? We are trying to get a group together in the area as well. I will be in Lackawaxen in the early spring. It doesn't matter if you are in Dingman's Ferry or Hawley, we can still meet in the middle!!!
If you want to get together, let me know! So far, I have SWB, and Pensypat interested in going out for lunch in the upcoming spring!
We are also originally from NY/NJ! We are moving back up from Florida.
We have had enough of it! We miss our family and friends very badly

I like to go to IGA in Hawley for my meat. We have a summer house in Lakeville by Lk W but plan on moving permenantly somewhere around Milford in the near future.
