They had awesome burgers, too.

The restaurant is closed for repairs and won't re-open until after settlement on the sale. It will be interesting to see what happens to the place under the Jorgenson regime.

I had a burger from Jorgenson's once, and it was kinda lousy.

Question Milford Hills

We looked at the homes for sale at Milford Hills off Route 6 in Milford. The realtor told us that the developer is selling the models and then is going to sell the rest of the lots to another developer. The realtor did not know why he was getting out and she did not know who was going to come in and build on the other lots. This just sounded a bit odd to my husband and I. The homes were very nice, they ranged in price from $325K to $525K.
Does anyone know anything else about what is going on with this developement?? I though people wanted to live in Milford?? Milford Hills is right near 84 so it is ideal for my husband's commute. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well, Milford Hills is not actually in the Borough of Milford as you know, it is up on Route 6. The desirable area is right in town within walking distance to everything. There is something to all this, what we are hearing is that there are problems but no one has come out and said exactly what it is regarding this development. This is what we are hearing from the various realtors and they know what is going on. In fact, I believe Chant is the exclusive agent on that development. Yes, it is convenient right next to 84 and driving through there the lots look very nice but other than that I can not offer any concrete information on what the inside scope is. Ms Milford, can you help us out here?

One thing I may or may not mentioned but what I did hear is that the DUE are $150.00 a month. If my math is right, and sometimes it is not that is $1,800 on top of taxes, not including any assessment or raises from the Assocation once it convenes.

What do you mean by 'problems'? When we went to see the models that are selling the realtors acted like it was normal for a developer to decide not to go ahead with the project. That sounded weird to my husband and I. If you know anything other than the developer wants out please let me know. We really like the location and the realtor....but if something shadey is going on I'd like to be informed.
Thanks
Cam
